LEYLAND LEOPARD 51-AC-19 ARRIVES

November 6, 2008. Wadham Stringer Leyland 680 81 LK 390 ex Ministry of Defence number 50-AC-19 has arrived. Our plans are to scrap 81 LK 390 as we need the gearbox and clutch for our Leopard towtruck, we will use the engine, if in any condition, as a spare 680 and the rest will be spares for our Wadham Stringer Fleet. The gearbox from the towtruck will then be reconditioned and used as a spare as manual Leopard gearboxes are hard to find.
